Poverty Is Everywhere

Poverty increases In Australia while in other areas across the world it decreases. Why is this? We have ads on the TV about poverty in the third world countries but we don’t recognise poverty in Australia.
There are over a million people that suffer from poverty every day in Australia and yet we don’t hear about. We talk about other nations and how they suffer but we forget about our own that suffer as well. Just because we are not pronounced as a third world doesn’t mean we don’t suffer from poverty.
We have fundraisers about poverty in other places but not in our own nation. When are we going to realise that there is poverty in our own country. Are we in denial that our own country can’t possible being in poverty because we are not like third world countries who suffer from it the most.
Poverty is everywhere and as soon as we can start to realise that the sooner we can fix the problem in our homeland. The longer we sit on the fence about our nation suffering from poverty the more people of our country will suffer. I respect people who do donate and sponsor children form the third world countries but please give something back to your own country.
Let’s get Australia back on track before it’s too late. This is a problem we can fix together as one. We need to get active and set up more organisations and fundraisers. We need the government to get active and help Australians who suffer from this.
Australians are not the only non-third world country who has poverty problems. Every country around the world suffers from poverty whether or not they want to deny it is up to them.
